Had a wonderful trip to Holland at the start of March. Here’s a lovely review from one of the concerts:
“Just back from a concert of Amanda Cook on Sunday the 4th of March in the old church of Etten. What a beautiful concert! Everyting she plays sounds easy and natural. She is a gifted storyteller on the guitar and as a listener she draws you into her story: From Dowland to Narvaez,Tarrega and Bogdanovic, and from William Lovelady to American Jazz and Argentinian Tango with a Peruvian Dance at the end! The encore Torija by Torroba was a miracle of beautiful sound production that left us gasping for air…One of the best concerts I have ever attended!!”
